Instant Access to Correct and Current Data
With a central product database, such as the PIM system ANTEROS offers, you no longer have to search for the current status of data in multiple directories, as you now have a single source for product information. By using automatic data checks and quality levels, the system constantly checks whether the stored data is correct.
You can also use the quality levels to define milestones for your products and, for example, set requirements for displaying them in the online store, such as an SEO-optimized product description.
Consider SEO as Early as During Data Maintenance
The description fields in ANTEROS allow you to format your texts in the same way as you would in applications such as Word. This allows you to emphasize texts of all kinds, or even superscript and subscript them. At the same time, the system automatically generates the corresponding HTML tags so that the formatting is adopted directly when exporting for the online store.
ANTEROS also offers so-called text templates with which you can automatically generate texts.
Finally, a separate tab for SEO and social media-relevant information can also be implemented in the data maintenance.
All your Media in One System
ANTEROS has its own fully integrated media database for managing media, meaning that no external database is required. This ensures that all product data and all media, i.e. images, documents and videos, are maintained in the same system.
You also have the option of storing validity and licenses for your media in the database to ensure correct use.
The special feature of the ANTEROS media database is that an image only needs to be uploaded once and is automatically transformed into various formats. This means that storage space is not unnecessarily taken up by multiple versions of the same image and the best version for the intended use can always be applied.
Create Catalogs with or Without InDesign
The PIM system offers two approaches for generating print documents, one fully automatic and one semi-automatic. With the fully automatic approach, a finished document is generated at the touch of a button using predefined print rules, without the need for any manual reworking. This applies to both catalogs and price lists.
The semi-automatic approach involves exporting the product data from ANTEROS and importing it into a typesetting system such as InDesign, where the document can then be finalized by reworking. The majority of our existing customers choose the fully automated approach. In this case, the layout of the documents is already adapted to your ideas and corporate design. Print generation also works for customer-specific documents so that product inquiries can be quickly responded to with the correct data.
Finally, the ANTEROS print engine takes care of relevant elements for printing, such as the catalog cover and handle strips.
Customized Online Store Design
An online store or web catalog implemented with ANTEROS is always tailored to your layout requirements and your Coroprate Design. The functionalities can either be integrated into your existing website or set up as a stand-alone solution. The content is always configured responsively meaning that your website looks good on any device size. During installation, our developers always adhere to important SEO specifications for the store functionalities and you also have the option of amending your data in the PIM system to improve SEO. All familiar store functions, such as customer-specific prices, an order history and product comparisons, are implemented in your online store.
Reduce Effort with a Media Portal
With the ANTEROS media portal, you have the option of making your centrally maintained images, documents and videos directly accessible to colleagues, dealers or partners. In this "online store for media", all relevant media is displayed and made searchable via product categories without any additional maintenance effort. Media portal users can also download images in different versions and resolutions to obtain exactly the version they need.
You can restrict access to the media via rights and user access by user name and password. Introducing a media portal not only reduces the internal effort involved in searching for media objects, but also the time required to process external requests for media.
